About the Artist:
Sherri began her creative journey in 1993 when she owned and operated her own Craft Barn business on her homestead. Although Sherri represented nearly 20 vendors in her shop, she was interested in further enhancing her space with non-silk florals. After a bit of research she discovered the ever-versatile Sola wood bouquet option and she was hooked!
Did you know that each Sola flower is created by hand? They come from a plant called Aeschynomene Aspera that grows wild in marshy areas. Each flower is cut from a delicate sheet of Sola wood and then fashioned to create more than 150 flower styles!
