New Makers at ReTwist-T!
Rocks, stones and beach glass have always captivated Mary, a gift she inherited from her mother. She has brought stones back from every journey, including China and Ireland. Over time, the bent rocks of the Great Lakes became Mary's muse. She learned to drill holes thru the hard surfaces to bring forth jewelry and other artistic pieces. She uses many natural elements, leather cord, thrifted metal findings, and select beads to enhance her work. No two pieces are alike. Mary joins us from the rolling farmland and beautiful driftless region of La Valle WI. "A rock doesn't disappoint, it is as you see; without argument or expectations. Beach glass is an artifact, each piece having its own history."

Suzi, owner and designer of Dover Design, has worn many hats during her life…daughter and wife of a dairy farmer, medical assistant, office manager, and now jewelry designer! Her interest in crafts started when she was young, being mentored by her creative family and friends. Suzi started small, making jewelry for herself, until she got brave enough to give some as gifts. She discovered that creating unique, stylish and comfortable designs with leather and cork was both fun and challenging. Eventually the recipients of those early gifts started to request more and more designs...and that’s when she realized that making bracelets had become her favorite passion! Suzi joins us from Mazomanie WI.
