Inspiration Station

We are loving this shift towards warmer weather! During the month of May we are inspired by...you guessed it...getting outside! Thoughts of gardening, flowers, and fresh veggies have taken over the winter doldrums. Hooray! We are also thinking about finding ways to include 'Random Acts of ReTwist-ing' in our day. So...before you toss something aside, try to squeeze a new use out of it. Egg cartons make good seed starters, tissue paper makes adorable flowers...And the list goes on! What are your favorite ReTwist/ReUse/ReLove hacks? Be sure to share them on Social Media!

Happy Mother's Day - Sunday, May 8

“My wish for you is that you continue.

Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness.

Continue to allow humor to lighten the burden of your tender heart.”

-Maya Angelou

New to the ReTwist-T Team

Please welcome "Before & After: The Thrifty Road Trip"! Cindy and her husband share a love for antique stores, flea markets, thrift stores (and of course the occasional tavern) which means you will often find them exploring new places. These "Thrifty Road Trips" always end with that one amazing treasure that can be re-imagined into a work of art!

Carol not only enjoys fashioning articles using traditional methods and materials, but she also seeks to take the art of handcrafting to the next level! Painting with thread remains her greatest passion and the fanciful little pieces from Fancy Fool Creations are guaranteed to brighten a corner or make you smile! Carol joins us from Waunakee.

Creativity abounds when Katya steps into her Studio! Having grown up in a family that enjoyed crafting, upcycling and knitting together, she strives to continue that tradition. Katya's plush fabric products for babies and tots are sure to become the go-to item for Mama/Baby snuggle time. Katya joins us from the Sauk-Prairie Area.

Mary is a watercolor and mixed media artist who is inspired by flowers, color, nature, and creating whimsical floral pieces in her home studio. Spalted Maple Bowl by Bob at Out of the Storm Woodworks

Bob, our Out of the Storm Woodworks artisan, was contacted a few weeks ago with a special request. A regular customer, and lover of Bob's hand-turned wood bowls, Betsy wondered if she could have a special Spalted Maple bowl created that could be used today, but also kept as an heirloom for tomorrow!

After several weeks of working together on the sizing and design of the bowl, Bob and Betsy were finally able to meet at the ReTwist-T Store as the bowl went home with a happy new owner.

Thank you, Bob, for sharing your skilled craftsmanship!
